Camping takes us on exciting adventures into the natural world. Campouts are held in the fall and the spring. The kids and families always have a blast.\r\n<h2>Pinewood Derby<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nRacing a pinewood car that you built is FUN! You\u2019ll get to design your racing vehicle, work with a parent to build it, and see it perform on race day.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Snowbox Derby<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nRacing down a snowy hill with your pals in a sled you built from cardboard is a highlight of the year. We compete against other packs in the area. Hot chocolate and laughter abound!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outings and Field Trips<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\u201cOutings\u201d are a big part of Scouting. Cub Scouts get out and about with many kinds of outdoor fun, such as field trips, hikes, nature and conservation.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Service Projects<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nDoing service projects together is one way that Cub Scouts keep their promise \u201cto help other people.\u201d Our pack sponsors Scouting For Bikes each fall; we collect gently used bikes and donate them to local charities.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blue and Gold Banquet<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIn March, we hold a blue and gold banquet to celebrate the \u201cbirthday\u201d of Scouts.\u00a0 This is a very special event at which our Arrow Scouts cross over to become Scouts.\r\n\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Camping We love the outdoors!
